2025 Compliance Statement
At Poppy's Workshop, the safety and well-being of the children* who play with our toys are of paramount importance. We are committed to adhering to all applicable safety standards and regulations to ensure our products are safe and reliable.
Poppy's Workshop is registered as a "Small Batch Manufacturer"** by the CPSC. As such all toys are 1st party tested for safety compliance. Although passing thorough testing, currently, all toys are not for unsupervised use for children under 3 years old.
Materials and Finishes:
- Solid Hardwood: All our toys are crafted from high-quality, solid hardwood. This material is selected for its durability, safety, and non-toxic properties.
- Food/Child-Safe Finish: Each toy is either unfinished or finished with beeswax/coconut oil, which is recognized for being food and child-safe. This ensures that our products are not only safe for handling but also if they come into contact with a child's mouth.
Compliance with CPSC Regulations:
Poppy's Workshop toys will comply with the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) standards, including but not limited to:
- ASTM F963 - Standard Consumer Safety Specification for Toy Safety: Our toys meet or exceed all requirements set forth in this standard, ensuring they are free from hazardous materials and designed to prevent any risk of injury.
- CPSIA - Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act: We ensure that our toys comply with all relevant sections of CPSIA, including lead content limits, phthalate restrictions, and mandatory first-party testing as a small batch manufacturer.
